SHARE, the Spanish Cancer Data Space

187 hospitals and more than 30,000 patient records, connected without ever being centralised, and registered in Spain's official Trust List of Data Spaces.

SHARE is Spain's federated data space for cancer research: 187 hospitals and more than 30,000 lung cancer patient records, connected without ever being centralised. Every institution keeps full sovereignty over its own data, while researchers gain the scale to train and validate AI models for prognosis and survival prediction.

A federation is only as strong as the connections that hold it together, and that is where Holos works. Holos engineered the integration between SHARE and CLARIFY, the platform where the clinical data actually resides, so that queries flow and models learn while every guarantee of privacy, consent, and control stays intact. Holos also built SHARE's web presence.

In July 2026, the Spanish Government registered SHARE in its official Trust List of Data Spaces, the state's formal verification that the infrastructure meets its criteria for governance, security, and interoperability. Trust, verified.
