Carnide Clube's return to the National Championship, in its centenary year

In its centenary year, Carnide Clube will take part in the fifty-sixth edition of the National Championship of the Women's First Division. The 2020/2021 sporting season begins this weekend, with an away trip and a double round on the island of Madeira against CDE Francisco Franco and CS Marítimo. The Carnide Clube team will play 25 matches, travelling to the two autonomous regions, the Algarve and the North. Its competitive objective, in a first phase, is to qualify for the promotion group by finishing among the top four teams of the southern zone. It will then aim for the upper half of the table in the National Championship of the First Division.
