Holos and Google Organise the First Seminar in Angola

“G-Angola” took place on 8 and 9 November at the Hotel Ritz Victoria Garden in Luanda, Angola. It was the first seminar run by Google in Angola, held in partnership with Holos.
The seminar was attended by several members of the Angolan Government, as well as by a number of Google specialists, notably Nelson Mattos, Google's Vice-President of Engineering and Products for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Google's mission in Africa is to make the Internet an integral part of everyday life, increasing its relevance and usefulness, removing access barriers for potential users and developing products that are meaningful for the countries of the region.
With around 400 people present, filling the venue to capacity, the initiative proved a success and marked a turning point in Google's and Holos's commitment to the country.
