Holos supports FOLIO, the International Literary Festival of Óbidos

The Óbidos Literary Village, an initiative Holos has supported since its inception, will host the Óbidos International Literary Festival, named FOLIO, from 15 to 25 October 2015.
FOLIO was presented on 7 July 2015 at a press conference held at the emblematic café Martinho da Arcada in Lisbon.
In a session coordinated by the Mayor of Óbidos, Humberto da Silva Marques, and graced by the presence of the Minister of Culture of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Juca Ferreira, and the Secretary of State for Culture of Portugal, Jorge Barreto Xavier, presentations were made by the author José Eduardo Agualusa and by Jorge Brandão of the Regional Coordination Commission for the Central Region.
With more than 50 Portuguese writers taking part, FOLIO stages initiatives that, beyond book presentations and discussions with authors, include music, theatre, performances, films, gatherings, round tables, exhibitions and training.
The festival's programme is organised around five chapters: FOLIO Authors, FOLIO Folia, FOLIO Educa, FOLIO Tech and FOLIO Paralelo.
As with its support for the Óbidos Literary Village, Holos joins and supports this initiative.
